Our creative director Karen Reed counts Mowbray amongst her favourite bed linen designs and the collection epitomises her own, classic-with-a-twist style.

Karen has a keen eye for detail, and in the Mowbray duvet cover she has combined Reed’s signature, crisp cording with bolder satin stitch embroidery and a muted colour palette to create a bed linen look that is both contemporary and tailored, elegant and relaxed.

The Mowbray collection duvet cover is available in a choice of earthy tones, in our percale and sateen weaves, as well as a special colour combination in Reed’s iconic Linen Union cloth.

What Makes the Mowbray Duvet Cover Special? ⌄

Mowbray’s fusion of strong geometric stitching and soft, neutral hues is a lesson in the beauty of contrast. Fans of Reed’s classic Two and Four Cord bed linen are immediately drawn to this more directional, contemporary take on a corded design, which features the same, crisp and neat stitching set between a pair of strong, satin-stitch stripes.

To ensure that this bed linen design offers utmost versatility, Karen has selected a delicate palette including greys, taupe, ivory and putty – as well as white – which create a relaxed juxtaposition to the stitching’s clean lines. Karen recommends layering Mowbray pieces in complementary, contrasting colours.
