Description
A timeless woven stripe with understated elegance, Beaufort Narrow Stripe in Shortbread combines the soft warmth of Almond with the natural depth of Husk to create a beautifully balanced neutral. Woven in a linen union fabric, the fine alternating stripes introduce gentle movement and texture while maintaining a calm, sophisticated appearance.
The subtle interplay of tone enhances the fabric’s natural slub, giving it an organic character that works effortlessly in both classic and contemporary interiors. Perfectly complimenting curtains, blinds, cushions and light upholstery, Shortbread brings warmth, softness and enduring style to any space.
Linen bed linen has enjoyed something of a renaissance in recent years, but it can be trickier to wash and iron, and can look crumpled very quickly, which is why Reed’s Linen Union sheeting – a clever blend of linen and cotton – is the perfect alternative to pure linen sheets. Linen Union has the beautiful texture of linen, yet is much easier to care for, launder and iron than pure linen bed linen. We were first commissioned to create this bed linen by The Savoy Hotel in London, during a flax shortage that made their usual pure linen bed linen impractical. The resulting sheeting, named Linen Union in a nod to its fusion of flax and cotton, has gone on to become one of our best-selling signature fabrics. Today, as well as the original classic white bed linen ordered by The Savoy, it is available in a range of beautiful pastels, timeless neutrals and contemporary shades to suit every bedroom.
